Thanks Jan. Am I correct in assuming that the larvae are saprophagous and can feed on the rotting deadwood? |

Yes, they are bound to the rotting deadwood. But it is not clear if they are saprophagous, or preying on small saprophagous insects, or mycophagous, or wat else they can feed. |
