Fairly sure this is a Procladius female.

Please remember that i don't always know which features need to be viewed for Chironomidae because i do not have keys or descriptions for any of them. It is very interesting to me. Even the colors and the way it sits there like a humpback. very cool Chironomid and pretty too in my opinion. John and Nini. Naturalists not experts. |
