Hello everyone,

is it possible to specify a genus for this Chironomid? it was attracted to light at my balcony.

Fairly sure this is a Procladius female.

Thank you very much, Tony. I appreciate you taking time to help me. I learn alot from you. Please remember that i don't always know which features need to be viewed for Chironomidae because i do not have keys or descriptions for any of them. If you ever need to see more features or angles, then please ask.

ps i don't know why but i really like this one. It is very interesting to me. Even the colors and the way it sits there like a humpback. very cool Chironomid and pretty too in my opinion.
