Hello,

I found this specimen May 09, in my garden, sunbathing on a camellia around 17:30 between some Hylemya vagans, Hylemya nigrimana and Calliphora vicina.
Dorsal side of radicubital node is bare, no strong pd on the distal third of hind tibia, no seta on the inner posterior margin of hind coxa.
I think it's a Helina specie but I found nothing !

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
