I thought Bibio lanigerus, but when I look at Dutch information for a male I doubt if I just look at the metatars. ( https://www.nev.n...1997-2.pdf )

Metatars 3 slim, about 4 times as long as wide (fig. 6) ................................... ............................ Bibio varipes
Shined bright red. Metatars 3 slightly thickened, about 3 times as long as wide (fig. 8) ................ Bibio lanigerus

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
