Hi, this 1-2mm large fly (about half the size of a Drosophila) was found early April in Vienna. Maybe Family and Genus is possible? Cheers, Lorin Edited by Carnifex on 10-04-2019 14:25 Cheers, Lorin Font Color All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated. My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated. |

It's a chloropid and it reminds me of Polyodaspis ruficornis. |

Could a Lipara also be an option?

I don't think so because in Lipara the vibrissal angle is not developed anteriorly and I think I'm seeing a strongly projecting vibrissal angle. |
