Hi everyone. I have this picture of a fly that regularly appears in my backyard. It is quite remarkable the contrast of those red eyes and the blue body. It's a little bit smaller than those of the Calliphoridae family.
I'd like to identify it at least at a genre level.

Greetings
Diego Rosa

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
