Hi, I determined this specimen as H. confusa, but I am not entirely sure of the genus. Found in a forest near Vienna. Last image shows the mid-tibia. You are probably right. Narrow wings with C-index approaching 4.0 and whole tip of male abdomen dark (in otherwise pale fly) indicate H. confusa. |

Thanks, Jan. I guess, if the genus Hirtodrosophila is safe, than it can only be H. confusa, because of the ventral branches of the arista.
