Hello and welcome to the forum! I photoshopped your picture a bit to see more details... Unfortunately, in most cases one small picture is not enough to see all the characters necessary for identification. You need to see the thorax bristles, the leg bristles from different angles, the head in frontal and lateral view, the wing venation - and even then it is often difficult to get to a species name. The "true" experts rely on preparations of the male genitals. Well, I cannot identify your fly from that picture, but I have a guess. At this time of the year, the cluster flies (genus Pollenia, family Calliphoridae) become active. Usually they have golden hairs between the thorax bristles, but these may get lost, and the picture is not good enough to show traces of them. The bend of wing vein M could be a bit more angular, but on the whole your fly looks very similar to the one in http://www.siegig...llenia-sp/. Pollenia is a difficult genus, and it is impossible to identify a species without studying a specimen, so "Pollenia spec." (unidentified Pollenia species) is the best name I can supply.
