Hi Natalija & Tony, It looks like, but actually is a Chloropidae. The wide frons and relatively large scutellum with short, stout black bristles at the edge point to this. I don't know the genus, but many times I've found this chloropid in a smaple and thought: Hey, Madiza. Only to be disappointed to find it is actually a Chlorpoidae… Greetings, Ectemnius |

Yes, I was too hasty with Madiza - this fly is not "glabra" enough! Presumably this is near Siphonella/Calamoncosis - I'm not sure that it's possible to distinguish them from these photos?
