Good evening, A few days ago I found this fly (about 5 mm long) on a Rhododendron leaf (southwestern France). It looks like an Anthomyiidae of the genus Delia to me, but I am a bit confused by the overall dark coloration especially the shiny black back. Could you please confirm ? Could it be D. platura ? Thank you Jürgen, I am still trying to find the genus, but to no avail so far. Could you identify the subfamily ? |
