I photographed this beautiful Bombyliidae on the slopes of the Damavand, Mazandaran, North Iran, on 27 June 2018.
Can someone help me ID this species?

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol
