I photographed this Tachinidae near the little village of Cisano sul Neva, Liguria (Italy) at 750 mt above sea level, on September 3rd, 2016. Is it identifiable?

Definitely a Blondeliini, reminds me of Medina collaris, but the pattern is very bold. Did you digitally enhance the picture, by any chance ? Theo |

Great thanks, unfortunately if I enhance the picture I cannot load it because the filesize is too high, so I have to cut out it. What particulars do you need? |

Sorry, I totally misenterpreted your question! No, I didn't enhance contrast, but the fly was in the shade in a very sunny day, so the picture could appear darker than real colours. |
