Found a couple of bee-flies whilst on holiday in Crete last week. The first https://www.flickr.com/photos/runnerwill/44540741635/in/dateposted-public/ I think is a Villa species (and from picture matching on google looks like it could be hottentotta, but I have no idea how many species there are that look similar), it was found in the hotel Atlantiki Zeus on the outskirts of Heraklion on 15/10/2018

The second looks like Anastoechus sp. (possibly A. nitidulus) to me. Greetings, Henrik |

I think it looks more like a female Systoechus sp. Pretty sure that's what it is... impossible to get the species from those pictures though. The first one is a male Villa sp. for sure. But again, the species is nearly impossible to get through pictures. |
