I was searching the internet for a species list of german Tipulids, and of Tipuloids in Nordrhein-westfalen and Niedersachsen in specific but could not find anything. Does anyone know of a site or a document wich states german species of Tipuloidea? Or is there a website where all german animal/plant species are put together maybe like nederlandsesoorten.nl in the Netherlands?

Help is much appreciated!

Sincerely, M.C. d'Oliveira

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
