In the south of France, garrigue area with open spaces, October 13, 2017, on ivy. I'm thinking Anthomyia, but can we determine the species? Liliane D attached the following image: [188.73Kb] Edited by Liliane D on 05-09-2018 08:47 |

The black lateral patches on the thorax appear to be the right shape for Anthomyia imbrida, but I'm not certain what other similar species occur in your area. It does not appear to be pluvialis, procellaris or bazini.
