Hello, I observed this Diptera this 1st of September in Ambleteuse in the north of France. I think of a Neomyia cornicina but I hesitate with a Lucilia ? Cordially maxime |

Neomyia cornicina has fewer acrostichal bristles on its scutum: https://diptera.i...ost_280126 Judging from the size of the gap between the eyes, I would say your fly is a Lucilia sericata, male. Edited by tristram on 03-09-2018 13:49 |
