 Hello, I found this fly today on the german bank of the Oder river in the north-west of Germany. I think it is Chrysops sp. but I am not sure of species. Thanks for your help! Greetings, Adrian

 It is a male, possibly that made you doubt. Chrysops relictus.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
