OK, who's up for a challenge? What is this? Any thoughts on family? It's Diptera, so based on tiny size, habitat and wing venation maybe Lauxinidae, Agromyzidae, Lonchaeidae or Chloropidae? Photographed in late June, central lowland France. I was on a track bordered on one side by the wooded bank of a former sand extraction pit now filled with water. The other side is cultivated farmland.
