Am I OK with Nephrotoma appendiculata for this pair? I know there are several similar species and am not sure if this photo is good enough to be sure of species. Taken 20 June, central lowland France, on the wooded banks of a former sand extraction pit now filled with water.

It seems to me like Nephrotoma cornicina.

I support Nephrotoma cornicina based upon Oosterbroek.
John and Nini. Naturalists not experts.
currently injured. healing from surgery.
