 Hello, I would like to know the species of the above fly. Found at night on a building wall near a lamp. Size about 8mm.

 I think that there is a spot on each anal vein of the wings, so Palloptera umbellatarum.
John and Nini. Naturalists not experts.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
