This little fly was photographed on 25 May 2018 in central lowland France on the banks of a commercial sand extraction pit now filled with water. Rui Andrade has suggested on FB that it is Lonchaeidae. I know it's a long shot, but is there any chance of a genus from this photo?

yes looks like Lonchaeidae - but there is not enough detail in the photograph to say anything further!

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
