Empididae Hilara interstincta (female) is the correct name? Slovak Republic, Malá Fatra, approximately altitude cca 500 m a. s. l. Thank you very much for your help. Best regards. Fote date: 18. 05. 2018.

I think it is Hilara maura-group. maybe even maura female. i do not see a pronotal bristle but i cannot confirm two notopleural bristles. leg chaetotaxy and the hind leg matches maura group. the posterior spiracle seems to be pale and i think that i see hairs around the scurtellum. perhaps Paul will visit and offer his opinion. John and Nini. Naturalists not experts. |
