which Drosophila could this fly be?
Picture taken 2018-01-24 in Germany, NRW, 47608 Geldern
Length with wings 5 mm.

Interesting fly. Long row of spines on the 3rd costal section leads somewhere to Drosophila iri, a species which was introduced to England tens of years ago; no new data on the occurence in Europe.
I must tell that I never saw D. iri, so that I may be wrong. Do you have the specimen? If so, I am interested to see it. Jan Máca Janxmaca@seznam.cz
