looks like Opomyzidae to me but I'm not familiar with these flies. I've only looked at the gallery for similar species.

Thank You, Stephane. I haven't seen you around very much lately. I hope that all is well with you. I didn't remember this family (Sciomyzidae). I've seen these around before and made photos of them but I've never tried to id them. I keep busy with spiders and other diptera. Anyway, Thank You for helping Smile

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
