Hello everybody,

is it possible to determine this fly? Maybe it is Thelaira nigrina?

Location: Germany, Rhineland-Palatinum, 53572 Unkel, river Rhine valley, Stux hill, dry and warm habitat (grapeyards), 11. 05. 2017.

Thanks in advance,

Michael

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol
