Not a heleomyzid that I recognise - could it be Odinia (Odiniidae)?

If it is related to Anthomyia punctipennis it is likely to be an undescribed species. A starting point is this paper: Albuquerque, D. de O. 1952. Sôbre "Hylemyioide" Albuquerque, 1949, com descrição de espécies novas (Diptera, Muscidae, Anthomyiinae). Rev. Bras. Biol. 12:25-31. (Reference not seen, cited in Griffiths' revision of Nearctic Anthomyia.) |
