+/-5-7mm observed 16.40pm 1st Oct. 2017, Flensburg, Germany. sunning itself on leaf of old bush-bean in my vegetable garden. Poor photos but thought this might be Opomyza florum after seeing post by by Milosza :- https://diptera.i...d_id=81734 Ray Perry attached the following image: [39.64Kb] Edited by Ray Perry on 03-10-2017 08:05 |

Thanks Libor, I thought it might be the agricultural pest, Opomyza florum , since one of their main larval foods are leguminous crops and it was sitting on an old bean plant on which there is still fruit. However, I see that the brown of mine is closer to the colour of O.petrei than that of O. florum which is more orange. Rgds Ray Edited by Ray Perry on 02-10-2017 16:58 |

Hi Ray. Opomyza florum is yellowish with only spots on wing, not with darkened stripe along costa and on wing tip. Libor |
