Hello, I found this 6 mm fly this morning on low vegetation at a forest path (northwest Germany). At first glance I thought it was Thricops diaphanus. Hello once more, no comment? The two flies below I photographed at the same time at same place. Look rather similar, but should be male and female of Phaonia pallida actually. Hi, Photo 1 & 2 : Achantipthera rohrelliformis is correct ! Photo 3 : Male Thricops diaphanus (more red-orange than yellow, no prst acr). Photo 4 : Female Phaonia pallida. Stephane. |
