Good evening, Could you please help me with the ID of this Conopid? I took the pictures on July 7, at Odiáxere dam, north of the city of Lagos, South of Portugal. Thanks in advance for any help. A female Conops silaceus to me. But I would be happier with a more lateral view. I trust morphological features much more than colours

Thanks Piluca for your help. Unfortunately I don't have any other photo, so it will stay as Conops cf. silaceus. |
