Denmark, island Fyn, Middelfart, coastal area at the Fænøsund; Outsidephotos: kuv, 8th of August 2016. I think it is Tipula luna, male (although I haven't found a picture of T. luna with the black point in the middle of the wing). Is my idea ok? Please help.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
