Looks similar to the Stevenia here:

but probably a different sp., apparently with more extensive red areas on the abdomen.

It looks like it..!! I found some in 2014 but it was not sure that it was a S. triangulata.
Maybe now it is..? Anyway it is a Rhinophorid fly!

Need to check this, but my gut feeling is triangulata, which is described from Rhodos. So I concur for now..
