I photographed this fly near Den Haag, Zuid-Holland on 11 May 2016. I think it is Tachinidae, I am thinking of Oswaldia. Is it possible to id this one?
Thank you in advance!
Best wishes,
Johan

Not Oswaldia, which has bare eyes. Exoristini?

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
