Small; 4-5mm? , on one of the native yellow composites (no idea which, up to 5-6 feet tall, flower up to two inches across and a sickly yellow, leaf reminiscent of Cosmos but rather larger, flowering everywhere from March-May. The general appearance - and particularly the rather unusual head- seems to fit Dioxyna; are there other similar genera? Will van Niekerk attached the following image: [173.78Kb] |
