hello,
could anyone help me with this fly I found 31-05 in Voeren,Belgium
size approx 5mm

could this be an Odiniidae?

Could be Physiphora alceae (Uliidae), I think.

C. aeneum and C.similium are the most common , ...and as I've read in most of the comments on the Calliopum-Forum-search items...it is probably one of the two ... Smile
( but still there are C.elisae and C.geniculatum as well)
