Hi, Yesterday I saw this Tipula female on a house wall. A search in the Catalogue of the Crane Flies of the World (http://nlbif.eti..../index.php) made me think of T. flavolineata. It is not. Look for Tipula pierrei.

That fits still better - many thanks! Obviously I did not compare all species of the Catalog; next time I shall seek more carefully. Nevertheless help to make sure is still needed! |
