Hi, Please have a look at some photos of a nice little fly from southern Brandenburg, seen in July 2012. It seemed to have received a diagonal hit across the thorax but was fine and lively. I do not know where to put it - it is muscid-ish, but in the last picture there might be a subscutellum visible, so a strange Tachinid? I am very curious to learn more about it! Thanks for help, Sundew Sundew attached the following image: [134.12Kb] Edited by Sundew on 05-05-2014 10:39 |

So I was right to see a subscutellum! These Tachinids are really diverse. Many thanks, Stephane. |
