What are the Anthomyiidae photos. Slovak Republic Malá Fatra-Terchová. Altitude about 500 m. Thank you very much for your help. Created on: 02.08.2012.

Vein Sc is shaped as in Fannidae and there is the correct bristle on the hind tibiae.

Within Anthomyiidae Calythea has similar Sc but ought to have stronger markings on the body.

Fanniidae never have a pair of crossed interfrontal ; this is an antho.

Is it Calythea? Straight Sc and triple dark marks on abdomen. In America they have Limnophora-like markings on thorax but maybe not in Europe.
