Hi Theo ! I caught it in a meadow at daytime, with a net, in a steep valley with beechforest on sandy, calcerous soil. Normally very hot and dry at the top of the valley, and mor damp and dark at the bottom. I think I caught it in a meadow at the bottom of the valley. Is the correct spelling Istocheta or Istochaeta ? /Leif Edited by skrylten on 11-11-2012 19:27 |

Thanks Steve ! I will add photos to the gallery. There was another record of I. longicornis, 20 km from this site, 3 years ago. Also on dry, sandy meadow, at a golf course, and at daytime. |

According to the nomenclatoral police, it is Istocheta. According to me and all other people who enjoyed Gymnasium, it is Istochaeta. Thanks for the info ! Theo |
