Green Geronymia Ecuador cloudforest

Found in Mindo cloudforest, Ecuador in March.

Very mosquito-like especially with the proboscis; however, quite gangly and too big to be a mosquito.

I think Limonia (Geranomyia) because the palps are at the base of the beak instead of the tip (the long noses of crane flies are not all homologous). Geranomyia may be considered a genus rather than subgenus.
