This needs 3 different threads otherwise it will get confusing: - Gonia sp. - Gonia picea - Calliphoridae - Pollenia As you can see the title is now wrong because one is not a tachinid Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London. |

Thanks very much, ChrisR! Tachinid for all three was my wild guess. I checked the Norwegian Gonia list and found five species, which all have some red except picea. The four species having some red are: capitata ornata divisa distinguenda Maybe still not possible to ID from photo?! Leif |
