 Could anyone help me with this fly?

I think it's Gonia, but I know nothing about the species.

Beginning of march, Fuencaliente (Ciudad Real) south-central Spain, near a creek.

 Definitely Gonia but there are quite a few potential species - like ornata and distinguenda.
Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
