 This photo was taken by Jean Hort in 31st August 2010 in Perth.

Most likely to be a Platystomatidae. It would be nice to know the genus, at least.

 Just to let everyone know - the fly has a name @ flickr, and it's been a while, suggested to the author of pictures by some expert I believe, it's Lenophila nr. nila.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
