12/12 Cylindromyia xylotina (Tachinidae) (male)
Italy, Aosta Valley, Monte Bianco, 5th August 2017. Altitude 1 950m
Alpine Meadow.
Hind tibia missing pv bristle, ventral bristles on T2, long 2nd segment of arista and long 3rd antennal segment compared to the relatively more common C. brevicornis

Cylindromyia get overlooked sometimes because a few species are rather common but actually there is a nice diversity TumbsUp
