Difficult. The species of 16-10-2010 was smaller. About 6 mm. The others about 8 mm. I think !!!! Thijs Edit. The last fly is sitting on a chestnut leaf. 8mm!! Edited by thijsdegraaf on 18-10-2010 21:17 http://www.tuin-t...engels.htm |

These are probably all Phyto melanocephala. Difficult to be entirely sure from these photographs. |

What helps is that melanocephala is the only Phyto reported from the Netherlands... Theo |
