Tipula rufina (female), Suffolk, Dec 2015

T. rufina should be correct, the black stripe is said to be distinctive (http://www.nature...ula-rufina and other websites). Regards, Sundew |

Thanks Sundew. There are no previous records of Tipula rufina in my county of Suffolk on the UK National Biodiversity Network system, although that is probably due to under-recording rather than real scarcity. |
