The Catalogue of the Craneflies of the World (http://ccw.natura...) by Pjotr Oosterbroek lists 139 Tipula species for Turkey, many of the without photographs. T. fulvipennis is well illustrated, however. Have a look at it - I think, it is another species. The pattern of wing spots does not match. Furthermore, your picture does not show the whole wing, and also the colouration of the abdomen is not visible. You may send a Private Message to Pjotr, probably he is the only one who is able to supply a name to your fly... |
