Well, this is a final step of my evolution (or degradation) from photografer to entomologist. This time I have no live image at all, only collected fly.
Could you check my ID as Milichia ludens?
Sochi region, 05march, about 1,5mm, dry last year grass on horse pasture.

Another ephydrid. The branching of the arista is quite characteristic for the family and well visible.

I just checked some specimens: this fly is a Psilopa (Ephydridae). If the antennae are all black (looks like they are) I'd bet it is P. polita.

Antennae are black excluding inner side of 3-d segment which looks rather brown than black.
