Hi,
In a nature reserve east of Berlin recently I came across two flies, a smaller and a bigger one, of obviously the same species. The had a nice wing pattern and were unknown to me. I thought of Pherbellia, but somehow they do not look sciomyzidish... Help is greatly appreciated!
Regards, Sundew

A teneral Otites centralis or guttata - in this case pattern is too faint, and I am not certain.

Ha - a new family (for me) at last! Many thanks to both of you. Perhaps I should go and look for them again, now the wings should show full colour. However, the chances to track them down seem to be rather slight...
