Location: ~65 km N of Stockholm, SWeden Date: 2008-JUN-06 I assume this is a small sarcophagid, but if it didn't have the red eyes and checkered body I would have guessed Tachinidae. It was driving me crazy sitting on a shivering leaf in an uncomfortable position to photo. Well, here is the result ...
