Hi I photographed and catched this little whitish flie on 26. May 2010 - in Næstved, Zealand, Denmark. Is this the species, as it was suggested as a possibility - being quite common? |

M. rorida is indeed very common. Possibly the fly on the photo belongs to the species, but the picture is not detailed enough. ruud van der weele rvanderweele@gmail.com |

From what I can see I would say there is no row of ctenidia on the fore femur, so in that case no rorida.

Sorry for bringing up this old thread - but noticed that i had not expressed my gratitude for the reply for which i would like to apologize. I have a few more photos of a specimen i reckon should be the same species. Is it by any way possible to id with these? Kind regards Jan Grathwohl |
